These all-inclusive Challenge kits feature a full-scale Construction Challenge, which engage teams in a sustained problem solving experience.  In order to solve the Construction Challenge teams have to design, create and test an apparatus of some type.  Depending on the specific Challenge, teams have anywhere from one to four hours to solve the challenge in a specified amount of time to operate the device for a score.  All the materials are provided for each Construction Challenge, pushing  teams to creatively use their materials and resources that are available to them.  Scoring in this type of Challenge is heavily objective and very dependent on the successful operation of the team-created apparatus.  It is always a good idea to have a set of basic tools available for teams to use as they solve these Challenges.
