Methods
ImagiNation-4-Life offerings utilize the 25 years of experience that has made Destination ImagiNation, Inc. the world’s largest creative problem solving organization. Our methodologies are based on placing teams of participants in situations and activities that we call Challenges. These Challenges are then solved by the team (with supporting and caring facilitators), allowing the team to have true ownership and responsibility for its solution.
The setup of the Challenges is open-ended, allowing for an endless variety of solutions and a sense of accomplishment for the team. The most important part of participation in I-4-L activities is the PROCESS the participants go through to develop its solution.
Assessments
One unique facet to the I-4-L offerings is the use of non-intrusive assessment instruments that provide qualitative and quantitative data on how participants are progressing. Most I-4-L activities feature a score card so that the participants can have an immediate gauge on the team’s problem solving process and solution. Assessment methods reward the process the team goes through to solve the Challenge.
